We couldn’t have asked for a better day with Morgan and Alex! We had so much snowy fun at their Breckenridge engagement photography session, right in the heart of The Rockies!
Breckenridge, a favorite destination among powder hounds, is one of Colorado’s best mountainous locations. Scenery includes an array of local 14ers like Quandary, Grays Peak, and Torrey’s Peak. Mount Massive, Holy Cross, and Pike’s Peak can also be seen looming in the distance! But aside from spectacular mountain views, the ski town itself evokes a particular aesthetic. Decorated in its winter best, the town’s little stone streets and charming shops made for some perfectly romantic photos. This quaint area certainly gives engagement photos their own cozy feel, and we loved the special touch it gave our shots of such a beautiful couple!
Our session began at Breck’s very own The Crown. Inside the quaint coffee shop, lattes in hand, our awesome couple engaged in a sweet game of Scrabble! This match made for some truly beautiful moments shared between the two. The competition was complemented by some delectable desserts. Another perfect photo op!
Here is a fun Save the Date idea! Line up the Scrabble pieces, either on the board or on the holder, to spell our your wedding month and date, or your names together. It’s unique and your guests will enjoy the clever playfulness of the card!
After the gameplay and sweets, we wandered downtown. Ambient fireplaces made for even more gorgeous photos! We loved the combination of soft snowfall and holiday lights. Both perfectly complemented the warmth of our stunning couple! At the end of the day, we happened upon arguably the coolest part of Breckenridge. Enter: train cars! This perfectly wrapped up our chilly day with such a wonderful couple!
