A Traditional Wedding at Beaver Creek | Taylor & Ryan

April 16, 2018 March 15, 2026 From the Hip Photo1 comment2580 views

Sometimes we don’t have any control over when love finds us. Love might find you at work, at the local coffee shop, or even at the bar!

No matter how or when you find your one and only, we love hearing your story. And we absolutely love it when you invite us to be a part of your special day.

Speaking of when love finds you, getting the attention of a cutie in a bar can be challenging, and incredibly nerve wrecking. But sometimes, when you see someone special, you just have to muster up the courage to talk to them first. Or, if you’re still not quite that brave, you can ask one of your besties to go talk to him for you. That’s exactly what Taylor did! Just less than a year later Ryan dropped to one knee after a snowy sleigh ride in Beaver Creek and asked Taylor to marry him. Is there anything more romantic? She said yes of course!

Tying the Knot

The big day took place at the Chapel at Beaver Creek. It was a traditional wedding, but had perfect accents to make the day unique. Surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains, the couple and their guests were able to enjoy both the scenery and the venue!

The bridesmaids were stunning in purple, and stood out from the mountain greenery like beautiful mountain flowers. The groomsmen looked dapper in their tuxedos, complete with purple pocket squares.  But, as good as they looked, no one could take their eyes off of the bride and groom.

The highlight of the entire day was when the couple first saw each other. Taylor was breathtakingly beautiful in her lace gown, and the love in Ryan’s eyes when he first saw her made it clear that the two are meant for each other.

“Seeing his face and the tears in his eyes was an image I will never forget,” said Taylor.

The gondola ride that the newlyweds shared was just the cherry on top for their special day. It was the perfect moment for Taylor & Ryan to share with one another and made their day even more unique. Congratulations Taylor & Ryan!
