Congrats, you’re engaged! This is THE hot spot for your epic engagement pictures with your loved one! Your family and friends will be so jelly when they see your breathtaking session with your Lost Gulch photos. The area has both wide trails surrounded by trees and a rocky edge that cliffs off towards the west. This location does tend to be on the busier side, so please be prepared for that! There are plenty of little corners to sneak off to, all with stunning views. We highly recommend bringing a bottle of champagne to pop open, it makes for an epic photo!
Family & Maternity Photos
Lost Gulch is an excellent location for families with older children. This area is rocky and fun to adventure around but can be on the dangerous side for little ones who like to run amuck. There are benches and trails far away from the edge for those who are scared of heights. Maternity sessions here are epic, too! Capturing any session here during any season is not a problem at all, this location is meant for all seasons! The warm months are luscious and green. The colder months invite the white blanket of snow to add another layer element to the gorgeous local!
Best View in Town
Lost Gulch Overlook is quite possibly one of the best views along the Front Range and makes for a perfect location in the greater Denver, Boulder, Golden, areas. We’d love to capture more sessions here! There is a $25. permit fee to capture photos here, and we must request a permit at least 3 days in advance. Check out similar locations like Red Rocks and Lookout Mountain.
