Chris, Jon and their four children arrived in the Flagstaff mountains just outside Boulder, CO for their super-fun family session! Beginning with a hike to the top of the Lost Gulch, this family was up for the adventure to create unforgettable moments. Obviously, they know they are making this precious moment in their lives last forever. Lost Gulch First of all, let’s mention how much we love Lost Gulch! No matter what the session is, Lost Gulch always provides us with the perfect backdrop for some jaw-dropping images. Located atop Flagstaff mountain just 5.5 miles west of Boulder, there is so much depth and vastness at this viewpoint. For instance, from the cliff-top, you can see all the way past Nederland into the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park. I mean, how could it not leave you awestruck? Family Fun! Okay, enough about the location and let’s move onto this gorgeous and friendly family who shined bright at Lost Gulch Lookout! From photographing their engagement to their wedding, we have made a great friendship with these two! Now it’s three years since their engagement, and they are back with a baby bump! Not too long ago we went with Katy and Dan to Lost Gulch Overlook to capture their maternity photos against Colorado’s kaleidoscope sunset skies. Then, a few months later we got to take the camera from Katy’s cute bump to this couple’s bundle of joy. We absolutely loved capturing photos of their baby girl at their home.
