Flying Horse Ranch | The Perfect Place For A Rustic Wedding

September 6, 2017 March 15, 2026 From the Hip Photo3777 views

Nestled in the rolling hills of Larkspur, Colorado, along the front range and just outside Colorado Springs, is Flying Horse Ranch. With 1,400 acres of greenery and 39,000 square feet of indoor riding arena space, this charming ranch is perfect for a Flying Horse Ranch wedding.

We aren’t wedding planners by any means, but, as you can imagine, we’ve been to our fair share of weddings! And, by “fair share” we actually mean a billion. Maybe even a billion and one. With all those weddings under our belt, we’d like to share with you one of our favorite, uniquely bucolic venues!

This active cattle and equestrian ranch is the perfect spot for a rustically chic wedding. They house ceremony sites, bride and groom suites, a ranch house reception room, and a gorgeous barn. Flying Horse Ranch has got it all!

Aside from the variety of picking the perfect place to say “I do”, the ranch offers so much more! From cows and adorable calves to horses for horseback riding. It’s a very versatile place! Along with hosting weddings, they also host equestrian and corporate events.

We had the honor of doing a Flying Horse Ranch wedding styled shoot with not one, but two gorgeous brides! They both showed off varying wedding dress styles, as well as, casual wear–showcasing the versatility of the venue well. The space is perfect for an elegant, chic, and sleek soiree. Or even a softer, more flirty and light celebration.

We highly recommend being a Flying Horse Ranch guest and take your pick! Do you want to tie the knot in a gorgeous barn, surrounded by greenery, or even inside a homey ranch house?!
