Colorful books, bright orange foxes, and streaming natural light surrounded us in this dreamy nursery for an adorable candid newborn photography session with the Hanley family. The newborn stage in life is so fleeting and we worked with the family to swiftly set up a photo session to document this sweet baby girl during her first week after she decided to arrive a week earlier than expected.
Brittany and Danny welcomed us into their Denver home for some candid newborn photography of their newest addition, Keira James. If you were to close your eyes and picture a comfy and calm nursery, this is most likely what it would look like! The room was bright and open, with cozy, chunky blankets and soft colors.
Big, open windows allowed sunlight to shine through the room, creating a perfect way of framing baby Keira. The friendly forest animal themed nursery boasted foxes, hedgehogs, and other little critters while a cute, subtle wallpaper dotted with deer lined the walls. Orange fox bookends decorated the shelves and sandwiched a colorful array of books.
There was so much love in the room! During the entire session, the couple’s golden retriever never left their side! He was even gentle enough to lovingly pose next to the newest friend under his protection. We are sure those two will be inseparable adventure buddies when she starts to walk!
Plus, this cutie slept the whole time, making our jobs so much easier! Keira’s fashion sense is already strong as can been seen with her frilly, pink onesie with a strappy back. And her proud mama also looked stunning in her flowy, blue dress.
We are excited to see this little girl grow up! Congratulations Brittany and Danny and thank you for letting us be a part of your family for the day!
