Michael & Aaron | The Perfect Black Mountain Lodge Wedding

June 14, 2017 March 15, 2026 From the Hip Photo4293 views

Tucked away 11,550 feet up in the Rocky Mountains, Michael and Aaron said “I Do” forever. Situated at the peak of Arapahoe Basin and reachable only by chairlift, the Black Mountain Express, in particular, was the most beautiful Black Mountain Lodge wedding. The two grooms held their wedding on the lodge’s spacious deck under the summer sun, surrounded by towering mountain peaks.

Michael, Aaron and their huggable pooch took advantage of the sunlight and took pictures on the mountainside before the ceremony. Their spunky wedding party joined them as well! Each groom had three best men and one best woman to accompany them down the aisle and stand by their sides as they closed the current chapter of their life and started another!

The newlyweds ended the ceremony planting some beautiful greenery, giving it soil and water to grow and thrive. Such an act was the perfect embodiment of their undying love for each other! The couple even managed to sneak in a few (several) kisses in Mother Nature, relishing in their “just married” bliss!

The lodge was the perfect place for their wedding, given that the pair enjoys winter activities. It was obvious that their guests enjoyed the spot, as well as seeing two people they adore tie the knot.

We first met this pair for their engagement shoot, and we had no idea how they were going to look any cuter for their wedding. It’s always fun seeing couples go from engaged to married! Tagging along in the backseat of such an important journey is one of the many reasons we love what we do here at From The Hip Photo. We’d like to give a huge congratulations to Michael and Aaron! And a thank you for letting us play a small part in your engagement and your Black Mountain Lodge wedding!

We’d also like to thank all the other fabulous vendors that contributed to making Michael and Aaron’s day special!Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo Black Mountain Lodge Wedding | Wedding Photography | Arapahoe Basin | From The Hip Photo
