Janelle and Ben are getting married, yay! We love getting to know our couples during their photoshoot, so of course, we had to ask more about their romantic life! They plan to tie the know in the spring in beautiful Canada! They met on a dating app called Hinge. On their first date, they met for drinks at Wine Bare in LoHi. First impressions really do stick! With easy and comfortable conversation and mutual attraction, they were both in! Take a deeper look inside their intimate engagement at Denver Union Station.

Feeling the sparks flying
We met at Union Station in early January, which is one of our favorite spots because it is a Denver landmark! We started with some of their favorite whiskey drinks inside and then walked to the Dairy Block. Another amazing Downtown Denver location! We got some creative shots in the mirrored ceiling and had fun with the murals in that alley. We love having so much fun with awesome couples!

How he asked…
We had to ask how the engagement went down! These adventure seekers were enjoying some fresh powder on an unforgettable trip to Crested Butte, a beautiful ski town roughly 4 hours from Denver when he popped the question. After a morning of snowboarding, while relaxing in the mountain top chalet, Ben asked her to be his wife! Janelle was shocked and beyond excited to start this next chapter of their lives!

Real love is found here
Both Janelle and Ben are so easy going and fun that it was easy to capture natural and candid moments with them. It was such a lovely intimate engagement at Denver Union Station. Thus, we are so excited for the two of them. Congrats!

Frequently Asked Questions
When should we schedule our engagement photos?
We recommend scheduling 2-3 months before your wedding. This allows time for proofs and prints, and engagement photos can be used for wedding stationery.
How long do engagement sessions take?
Most sessions run 1-2 hours, giving us time to capture images at multiple locations and in different lighting.
What should we wear?
Choose outfits that reflect your style and feel comfortable. We recommend coordinating colors rather than matching exactly. Layers work well for outdoor Denver sessions.
Can we use engagement photos for announcements?
Absolutely! Many couples use their engagement photos for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and social media announcements.
What if the weather isn’t perfect?
Colorado’s weather can be unpredictable. We’ll work with you to reschedule if needed, or we can embrace the elements for unique, moody shots.
