Engagements, weddings, and even welcoming new family members, are all important life milestones! Those of us who love our fur family know that important occasions wouldn’t be complete without our furry best friends.
Luckily, there’s no better addition to your photos than your pet. So, of course, Julia & Travis wanted their adorable dogs to be a part of their engagement session at El Dorado State Park.
It was a perfect fall day for taking a walk outside, and that’s exactly what Julia & Travis did. With their walking buddies on leashes and ready to go, there couldn’t have been a better opportunity for candid photos of the couple. Julia & Travis looked great from head to toe, and so did their pups! One of their furry friends even wore a bow tie for his photo op!
Strike a pose pup!
Your dog will be excited to be spending time with you no matter what, so it’s important you and your fur friend are both prepared. A great way to do that is to take your dog to the location of your photo session beforehand. This will help you both to be familiar with the location, and your dog won’t be as distracted when it comes time to say ‘Cheese!’ You might also consider spending some time playing fetch, or just taking a long walk before your photo session. If your dog has had a chance to play and burn off some energy, they’ll be much more likely to be calm for photos. And of course, you’ll want to make sure you pack extra treats to reward your pooch for being so good!
Most importantly, have fun! Your dog loves you and is great at picking up on your emotional state. If you’re relaxed and having fun, so will your pup!
Get all paws on board to celebrate all of life’s special moments. Though your fur family may not be in every photo, the day will feel special knowing that they’re invited! Congrats to Julia & Travis’ and their adorable corgi duo on a fur-tastic engagement!
