Chris is a firefighter in Fort Collins, where these fun photos were taken, and Kelly is a local CBS4 news anchor. They’re kind of a local power couple! They decided to take their photos in the firehouse, a setting that is just as meaningful as it is adorable.
Chris and Kelly were an incredibly fun pair, ready for anything and such a blast to photograph. Not even a rainy day could get them down, and as a result, their firehouse engagement session was red hot!
Thank goodness, because a seriously soggy day of rain dashed any hopes we might have had of getting outside. Lucky for us, though, this indoor setting proved to be the perfect place!
The colors, lights, and shapes the firehouse provided were so much fun to play around with. We particularly loved how the primary color palette was incorporated.
Kelly looked beautiful in blue, against the yellows and reds of the firehouse. Some of our all-time favorite shots are composed of Chris in his firefighter getup and Kelly in those firetruck red heels. Red hot!
Kelly also showed off her goofy side with a cute and original wardrobe change. At one point, this firefighter’s fiancé modeled Chris’s flame resistant ensemble! Too sweet. Just another reason why we love them both!
We loved the fun-filled attitude these two had all day long, even while perched atop a firetruck while it poured outside. Plus, it’s so easy to see how much they care about each other. Just look at those pretty smiles and flirty poses.
This firehouse engagement session was truly Pinterest-worthy! A unique setting and a beautiful couple made for the perfect engagement photos.
Chris and Kelly will be tying the knot this summer in Vail and we could not be more excited for them! We loved taking their super fun photos and wish these two the very best!
