Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms Chatfield Farms is a 700-acre native plant refuge and working farm that's located in southern Jefferson County. The area is a beautiful spot for birdwatching, scenic walks, and for picking up the perfect pumpkin! Chatfield also has a couple of historical buildings; a restored dairy farm and silo from 1918, the 1874 Deer Creek Schoolhouse, and the historical Hildebrand Ranch.
